Light In Motion

An immersive design exhibition produced for London Design Festival, bringing together nine artists and designers exploring light, space and motion through kinetic installations and collectible design objects.

Project Summary

Light in Motion was an immersive exhibition produced for London Design Festival 2024, hosted at The Art House. Curated by Sean Malikides of Kai Lab and Jessie Temple of Whatever Together, the show featured nine artists and designers working across architecture, engineering, software and design, including Kai Lab, Duncan Carter, Heyl & Van Dam, Maria Vera, Relative Distance, Sophie Mei Birkin, Star Holden, Will Laslett and Will Muir Llia.

I co-produced the exhibition and its accompanying public programme, delivering a full takeover of The Art House's ground floor and a series of talks and workshops that deepened engagement with the artists and their work, alongside a marketing campaign and brand identity developed to define and promote the show.

Described by Dezeen as a group of designers and engineers working at the cutting edge of technology, and by CULTURE Whisper as a dazzling exhibition of precision technology with original artistic vision, Light in Motion was Acrylicize's largest-scale exhibition and events programme at The Art House to date.
